1. Creating Your Account
To get started, head over to our Sign Up page.
- Sign Up with Email: Enter your email and you'll receive a verification email to activate your account.
Once logged in, you'll be greeted by your personal dashboard.
2. Dashboard Tour
The Vauch dashboard is your central hub for everything:
- Collections: View and manage your different groups of testimonials.
- Widgets: Create and customize the visual elements you'll embed on your site.
- Forms: Build the interfaces your customers will use to leave feedback.
- Analytics: Track view counts and engagement for your social proof widgets.
3. Creating Your First Collection
A Collection is a group of testimonials, usually for a specific product or service.
- Click on the "New Collection" button on your dashboard.
- Give your collection a Name (e.g., "Main Product Testimonials").
- Click Create.
4. Building Your First Form
Now that you have a collection, you need a way to get testimonials into it.
- Navigate to the Forms tab within your collection.
- Click "Add Form".
- Use the Form Builder to customize fields:
- Default Fields: Rating, Name, and Feedback are included by default.
- Custom Fields: Add fields like "Twitter Handle" or "Company Website" to gather more context.
- Customize the Design: Match the colors and typography to your brand.
- Hit Save & Publish.
5. Adding Your First Testimonial
You don't have to wait for submissions! You can add testimonials manually or import them.
- Manual Entry: Click "Add Testimonial" in your collection and paste in existing feedback you've received via email or DMs.
- CSV Import: If you have a list of testimonials, you can upload them all at once using our CSV importer.
- Direct Link: Share your form's public link with your customers to start collecting new social proof instantly.
Next Steps
Now that you have testimonials, it's time to show them off! Head over to the Widgets section to create your first Trust Wall or Marquee.
